Charlotte Stute, 1991

Charlotte (DeFrain) Stute (1895-1995). Charlotte DeFrain was baptized at Trinity in 1895 and had memories of the church's ninth rector, the Rev. Alexander W. Seabrease. A life-long member, she had detailed memories of all of the subsequent rectors. She discussed the end of pew renting, the growth of the church in the 1910s, the unpopular decorations installed in the 1920s, and she also provides some family history, including references to her grandparents coming to Fort Wayne from England in the late 1860s. The recording was made on 9 February 1991 by John Beatty.
