  A biographical sketch of Governor Dickinson's family by Debra Stadel Eddy, published in the MMGS Newsletter, Winter 1995, page 6-7. Sources included an interview with Frank Dickinson of Dimondale, MI, 24, Feb. 1988, obituaries and many other sources. Daniel's family moved to Niagara Co., NY, when he was eight years old. Luren and Della had no children of their own, but they adopted his niece, Ethel Dickinson after her mother's death, and they raised her as their own child.
