Nicolaas Jacobse Groesbeck left Holland in 1627 and married Elizabeth ? (Steens). Their child was William Claas Groesbeck. William Claas Groesbeck married Gertrude Schuyler. Their child was Nicholas Groesbeck. Nicholas Groesbeck married Marytje Quackenbos, 13 Dec 1691. Their child was William, b. 1712, Albany, NY. Problem: Maritje/Marytje Quackenbos (b. 13 Sept. 1691) was the daughter of Wouter Quackenbosh and Neeltje Gybertse Van Den Bergh.
